Seun Onigbinde, Sally Suleiman, Adelodun Mohammed join Bolaji Abdullahi Mentorship Programme as Mentors

The Bolaji Abdullahi Mentorship Programme, BAMP, has announced Seun Onigbinde, Co-founder of  BudgIT; Sally Suleiman, a Media Personality and Founder of TheIsolycia Foundation; and Mohammed Adelodun, a Lawyer and Senior Associate at Y.C Maikayu & Co as the new Mentors for the second cohort of the Programme.

Seun Awogbenle, the Programme Coordinator who announced this in Lagos on Sunday, said the new Mentors are joining Harvard trained lawyer and Senior Manager at the Central Bank of Nigeria, Ngozi Njemaze; Business development professional, Fahad Garba and Strategic Communications practitioner, Olu Onemola who have been Mentors from the Programme’s first cohort.

Awogbenle said the Mentors are coming into the Programme with incredible pedigree, demonstrated record of excellence and extensive achievements as core professionals in different fields and areas of discipline.

He added that the mentors were selected “not just on merit of their work as outstanding professionals but also on the strength of their character as role models to a lot of young people and their commitment to impact and youth development, which is line with one of the programme’s objective of raising young people who are committed to strong values.
“We are deeply impressed by the impact we are making with young people. There is no other empowerment that is as powerful as the knowledge-based empowerment which BAMP is all about.

From vital lessons on leadership, finance, communication, social impact and other key areas, we are raising a generation of young people who are thought leaders, global thinkers, change makers, impact makers and solution providers in different areas that will contribute to Nigeria’s growth,” He concluded.

During the 6-month mentorship programme, successful professionals in both the private and public sector are selected to interact with mentees and share their wealth of experience and personal accomplishments with them as guide and support.

Since the programme started, renowned Nigerian citizens who have been invited to speak with fellows at the programme include: Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN, Principal/Founder Yusuf O. Ali & Co; Akintunde Oyebode, Commissioner of Finance and Economic Development, Ekiti State; Chude Jideonwo, Journalist and Media Entrepreneur; Ishaya Bako, filmmaker and movie director; Cheta Nwanze, Lead Partner at SBM Intelligence; Feyi Fawehinmi, Author of ‘Formation’; Chinenye Monde-Anumihe, development partnerships strategist among others.
